August 2009 — Hello again friends. Well, the hiatus has continued a little longer than planned for many reasons including health. A special thank you to those who have checked in to say hello and wish me better health. That is starting to happen. Being a Type II Diabetic, just everyday life can be a bit of a struggle which has made me become a bit of an advocate. Strength comes in numbers. I did a recent interview for NPR Intern Edition about a subject which I have not shared with many people...color/music synesthesia. I have had this ever since I can remember. I share this interview with Artist Marcia Smilack and I hope you will listen to her story as well. It is a very amazing one. Many thanks go out to Sean Day, Sonoe Nakasone, and NPR for a very well put together interview. You can listen to it here: The Art of Synesthesia. There will be more soon...I promise! May 2008 — Hi everyone! I've been on hiatus while trying to get my ducks in a row for this next CD project. These things take time and money, but are well worth the effort. I'm happy to say there are many visual and musical changes in store in the coming months. I'm very excited about them and hope you will like them. I will also be pushing myself more into the performing circuit...it's time. Stay tuned for more on that! ...I'm back! June 9th — I had a great time performing at the 21st Annual Marvin Gaye Jr. Appreciation Day Festival put on by Ms. Peasie Adams, a long-time friend of Marvin Gaye's. The music was outstanding! I was most excited to be on the same bill as the World Famous, Inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group, "The Orioles". Please check out this link about them: www.rockhall.com/inductee/the-orioles There were many great groups on board all day long but one that totally blew
me away was a Reggae group called, "The Pocket Band". Unbelievable! When
you listen to them, you can't help but move! I'm so excited that they are
about to embark upon an East Coast tour. They are the nicest people from Pictures from this event will be coming very soon in the gallery so be sure
to check them out when they arrive! Thank you Smooth Groovers for all the kind words and for having me on your show! I am absolutely thrilled!!! –– Sherelle May 2007 I'm busy at work on my sophomore CD entitled, "I'm Still Here". There is no I also have a newsletter that was put out earlier this month and I'm very –– Sherelle
